9. Ordering from us

9.1 You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered.

9.2 Our acceptance of an order takes place when we dispatch the order. When we dispatch the order the purchase contract will be made even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.

9.3 We may refuse to accept an order:

where goods are not available; where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment; if there has been a pricing or product description error; or if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our Terms and Conditions.

10. Pricing

10.1 All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates. We reserve the right to express the price exclusive of VAT, but we shall show VAT separately and include it in the total price.

10.2 Where we charge separately for packing, carriage and insurance and other relevant charges, the appropriate rates are set out in our specified pricing structure shown elsewhere on this Website.

11. Warranty

11.1 HandiWorld Ltd offers a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects on all of its products to the original purchaser subject to the limitations and exclusions listed below.

11.2 In the event of a claim, the purchaser is responsible for the cost of returning the product(s) and the proof of purchase back to HandiWorld Ltd’s warehouse for inspection (please refer to Cancellation and Returns Policy below).

11.3 The findings of HandiWorld Ltd are final. Should a manufacturing defect be discovered, HandiWorld Ltd's liability is limited to a refund or a replacement of the faulty item.

11.4 No warranty is given for defects resulting from conditions beyond HandiWorld Ltd’s control including, but not limited to, misuse, overloading, or from failure to assemble, mount or use the products or accessory(s) in accordance with written HandiWorld Ltd instructions, guidelines and safety text.

11.5 Detailed instructions and user guidelines are provided with each HandiWorld product. Failure to follow these guidelines could result in damage to vehicle, property or person. HandiWorld Ltd cannot be held liable for any claim arising from such injury/damage.

11.6 No warranty is given for defects caused by accidents, unlawful vehicle operation, or defects/inconsistencies in the vehicle upon which the product is installed.

11.7 No warranty is given for defects caused by the users failure to properly secure cargo as recommended by HandiWorld Ltd.

11.8 Repair or replacement of the defective HandiWorld Ltd product is the original purchaser's exclusive resolution under the warranty.

11.9 All consequential and incidental damages are excluded under this warranty. HandiWorld Ltd cannot guarantee against improper use or accidental damage. All vehicles and personal effects must be insured separately.

11.10 Damage to the user's vehicle, cargo or to any other person or property is excluded.

11.11 The above provisions do not restrict the consumer or customer's statutory rights according to the relevant compulsory national law.

12. Cancellation and Returns Policy

12.1 If you wish to cancel your order you can notify us by email to sales@handiworld.com before we have dispatched the goods to you; or where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with clause 12.2 below. Please note that you will require a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) before returning any item/s back to us.

12.2 You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you. Email sales@handiworld.com explaining the problem and we will assign you a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN). Please dispatch the item/s back to the following address:

12.3 We also recommend you send the item/s back to us using a recorded service such as Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery for example. This insures your item in the unlikely event that your parcel goes missing and also provides you with a proof of postage. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the returned product until it reaches our warehouse.

12.4 If an item is returned to our warehouse and is not in 'brand new' condition we reserve the right to the return the product to you and refuse a refund or exchange.

12.5 Upon receipt of the goods we will give you a full refund of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required. Refunds are credited back to the credit/debit card or PayPal account on or from which the initial purchase was made.

12.6 The rights to return the goods to us as referred to in clause 12.5 will not apply in the following circumstances:

(i) in the event that the product has been used or soiled

The provisions of this clause 12.6 do not affect your statutory rights.

12.7 In the event that one of our products becomes faulty, please send the item back to us using the exact same steps as above and we will test your product to determine whether the fault is caused by a manufacturing defect.

12.8 If the fault is deemed to have been caused by a manufacturing defect then we will send you out a brand new replacement and refund the cost of your postage back to you.

12.9 HandiWorld Ltd reserves the right to refuse a refund if:

(i) the fault is due to fair wear & tear

(ii) the item has been misused or there has been accidental damage

(iii) if a repair has been attempted

(iv) the item is over 6 years old 

12.10 Testing and examining your return can take up to 10 working days but we will endeavor to come back to you with a result as soon as we can.

13.1 You are permitted to print and download extracts from this Website for your own use on the following basis: no documents or related graphics on this Website are modified in any way; no graphics on this Website are used separately from accompanying text; and any of our copyright and trade mark notices and this permission notice appear in all copies.

13.2 Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on this Website (including without limitation photographs and graphical images) are owned by us or our licensors. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, any use of extracts from this Website other than in accordance with clause 13.1 above for any purpose is prohibited. If you breach any of the terms in these terms and conditions, your permission to use this Website automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed extracts from this Website.

13.3 Subject to clause 13.1, no part of this Website may be reproduced or stored in any other website or included in any public or private electronic retrieval system or service without our prior written permission.
